Continental Flight Attendant Negotiations 2010 Underway

Today December 15, 2009 your Negotiating Committee met with Continental Airlines
management to present proposals.

The Union presented a comprehensive proposal covering all sections of the agreement and items
we intend to seek. While the company did not have a formal set of proposals to exchange they
did follow up with questions regarding the Union’s presentation.

The Union will be posting the proposals for the membership this week. Please remember these
proposals are opening proposals and positions, which were presented for discussion and
negotiation.

The Union and the Company are in the process of setting up future dates for continuing
negotiations. As soon as both parties confirm the dates we will post them on the Negotiations
web site.

We urge the members to become engaged in the process by reading all information provided via
bulletins and information provided on the Negotiations official website - www.go142.org. Talk
to your fellow crewmembers and if you have questions, speak to your local grievance
representatives, Local Lodge Officers, or your Negotiating Committee members. Stop rumors.

Updates will be posted at the conclusion of each negotiating session.
