At Continental the Hotel committee consists of two domestic and two international reps. At ExpressJet there will be represented by a minimum of two representatives. When the corporate travel department, on either airline, presents us with hotel site inspections we will contact members of the committee. Upon completion of inspections, the committee members will report back to our membership at our monthly business meetings.
This is where you will find information on our possible hotel changes. Also at the meetings you will learn about the various amenities that are being negotiated into our contracts at these properties by our committee members for you.
Remember whether you have a positive or negative experience to utilize the Operational Performance Hotline to express your concern. We need to let OP hear how our experience was at our hotels. This is where you can address any hotel transportation concerns also. Remember,this is the ONLY way we can make the appropriate recommendations so these concerns voiced to management.
Continental Hotel Chair Person:
* Currently Continental does not have "Hotel Site Inspection" in there CBA. This has been a process that has been allowed through our current chair person Harrison Owens committed relationship to Corporate Travel. Please do not be misled as the final decision of a hotel selection only has to be recognized by the ALPA reps. This is very important in our lives and should be seen as important so they can be recognized in our next negotiated CBA.
